They are just as bad as Creso Pharma who have recently changed their name to Melodiol....

They rely heavily on advertising, where they try to present pretty much a non-event as a great news in hope, IMO, of attracting new waves of gullible retail investors who swallow BS and get sucked in (and buy shares) instead of doing their homework called due dilligence (dd).

Also, day traders, by selling shares to themselves, create a false impression that these shares are popular and in demand so gullible retail jumps on the bandwagon and buy them too.

I blame these new retail investors just as much - if they did their homework, which is not really that difficult - anyone can do it, only common sense is required (no need for some higher education) - a simple search online, looking through company's history to find anything out of ordinary, anything that doesn't look right - and then doing follow-up on whatever didn't look right.

As well as looking through quarterly reports in particular Appendix 5b / 4c. Again, no rocket science - there are clips on youtube explaining how to interpret and understand what's in these appendices. Simple, anyone can do it, people need to do their homework and stop "feeding" companies like mxc (MGC Pharmaceuticals). If they did this, they would be losing a lot less money and were more successful in picking good stocks.
