I don't have the answer IAmCoolSmart but it raises an interesting point on disclosure.
MGF only disclose one NTA figure. There is no notation whether this is pre or post tax on their weekly announcements, monthly updates, or their website.
It is a requirement under the ASX Listing Rules, that the theoretical NTA per share after providing for estimated tax on unrealised gains/losses in the portfolio is also disclosed (that is, after tax that may arise if the entire portfolio was sold).
All other listed funds I hold disclose both calculations.
