Was good to see MGF close in the green given the div comes from MFG and not from the fund/NAV itself
Be interesting to watch the development of MGF after the MHH restructure
Surely after the latest restructure Magellan won’t dive in and switch mgf to an open fund and merge it with MGOC to create a big open class fund
Be great for investors if it does given the consistent lag from the NAV to close that gap and could convert the options to get a nice return and Magellan get more coin under management so more fees for them
not sure they will go and do it though and just hoping this underperformance of late is just a small bump and they get back to back to their double digit returns for investors
