Or I would suspect Alcoa have access to cheap financing through the CDB which can be provided to 'friends' of Alcoa. The conversions of options. Or at last resort, the possibility of one of the big banks(UBS etc) coming onboard for a small issue of capital($5m/5m shares) for cheap financing.
