The ABC report did say that Chinese buyers never returned the bullion so testing for the % of silver impurity couldn't be validated.
Interesting times for sure and you would have to think that McGowan knew exactly what was going on and that the QA processes regarding the "doping" and customer records were sub-standard. There is some real unravelling to happen in that space!
