An intresting point to make is that the Ann of MM has been made a day before his appointment which suggests to me there have been in depth discussions about the needs, direction and goals of SAS.
MM has been picked for a specific goal. SAS recognized amongst other things that Aussie representation is important with a top gun. No doubt they did their homework.
This points out that time is shifted pace - I'm loading once again.
