It appears the Michelle's franchises had funding for the Classs Action from a 3rd party organisation. That funder decided the risk / reward was just to great. In other words, the case may not have stacked up for them if pursued. It is good news as it removes the last significant uncertainty from the past. Fund managers and investors hate the uncertainty of unresolved legal actions. It is bad enough dealing with the economic uncertainties and how these affect the business revenues and other aspects of the business. Onward and upwards.
