About the only positive I take from this is that this round of funding was for additional funding for projects outside of the core development contract, the funding announcement made is not about core funding.
And a comment on a couple of comments, in hindsight of course

"Also of note was no photonic projects...all electronics."
Maybe the view is that BLG is doing precisely what the funding committee wants? I hope so. To the tune of a somewhat larger core funding commitment, otherwise I'll just continue to be Psd Orff.
