I pay a fee of $32 in AUD for a trade with Fidelity for WRM.AX, that is about $23 USD. I'll stick with that. I was afraid this would be true. However, there may be an option. For Australian-based companies that have a OTC listing, such as Northern Star Resources, NST.AX, which is OTC listed as NESRF, I have bought them on TD Ameritrade for a fee of $21.95 USD (6.95 + 15 foreign fee). Other examples are Saracen Mineral Holdings, SAR.AX with an OTC listing of SCEXF, and Gold Road Resources, GOR.AX, with OTC ELKMF. All Australian, but with US OTC listing. This is not true of Canadian-based companies, for which there is no foreign fee.
