You're probably right, but can't see it being in shareholders interests. What special sauce does MGX have that would create synergies with another producer or add value for shareholders?
We're finally at a point where the next 12-18 months should deliver bumper cashflow that could be used to reward shareholders. Why blow all that on some overpriced acquisition?
But yeah, faced with those circumstances that's what most management in this country would be likely to do. I'd like to think ours is too smart for that. With the share price at this level why not add value through a buyback?
Or at least if they do look towards an acquisition hopefully we get 2 bumper quarters and a rerate under our belt before any announcement so I have an opportunity to get out.
