Sold out* at 30c.
I've enjoyed passively follwing STX discussion for the last year or so, many thanks and what a ride.
Today I sold out all but one share, after a week of digesting and reasearching the Geothermal release. Yes, i should have been quicker give price changes in that time. None the less, i thought I'd share my reasoning:
Rockist shared a similar conclusion to mine - an uncompetative energy resource. My assumptions being many wells over a large area are required for meaninful power, each well will be (too) expensive given the reported depth of Kingsia. Investment will be therefore be difficult, a common problem with geothermal projects.
This project is apparently central to STX carbon neutral strategy. That strategy is in part demanded by large investors, so there may be borrowing risk for STX.
These risks mean that, for me, cresting 30c today was my trigger to go.
I noticed the comment of nip in reply to Rockist. Given the competence of Strike, the board and CEO I would imagine they are already aware. This may also be why so much focus is (rightly) on STX gas assets and getting revenue from them as soon as possible.

I could be wrong about all of this, but it's my time to cash in and invest elsewhere. I wish STX well (gotta love their ambition and fight!) and I wish all their followers here good luck too.
