Key point in this Ann for me was the the Ministry seeing this as a win win being a win for diabetics and a win as a cost saving for the health system.
Would anticipate the SP to be stable or possibly manipulated down until actual revenue is hitting the books. It’s easy to present the numbers for the target market and get excited at the big number but impossible to predict the actual take up of the test and actual number of tests. It seems like a no brainer that every diabetic in the would should have this test annually but the world does not work like that.
Actual cold hard revenue numbers will move the SP in good time.
