I agree with our analysis. Governments here or in Europe won't contribute to the funding of a clinical trial unless there is a separation from the host organisation's other lines of business. The funding needs to be transparent, acquittable and not heavily exposed to risks associated with non-funded programs.

The cost of clinical trials is forever heading upwards however there is also demand for reliable clinical trial sites. Both Spain and Hungary are ideal in this respect as is Australia. Costs in the US are prohibitive IMHO. We know what is happening in Spain and can probably guess the next steps in Australia (assuming the options get to the money) Hungary has been a black box for several years. I am hoping that the Conference will open it up.
