Ann: MIGGSTER achieves 3 million pre-registrations milestone, page-127

Well the only history we have for this is that they got 25,000 subscribers from MTN which has 29M subscribers in their database.


Which would equal 0.086% of their database converted to subscribers but they weren't preregistered.

They also did marketing where they were targeting 10M impressions which would be a 0.25% conversion but again not preregistrations.

However they have never done a pre-register before so realistically you can use anything - given the majority of the pre-registrations are crowd1 members as it only just went public you would have to think 95%+ would sign up as it makes it hard to sell something when you don't subscribe. In a way the lower number would be 50% as I feel 10% isn't trying when you have a captivated audience that is going to be trying to sell the product that they should be a subscriber.
