interesting point, I think they would anticipate oversubscription as a possibility, and scalability is a massive consideration that would have gone into the business model. It is in the companys best interest to ensure the infrastructure can handle as many subscriptions as possible to get maximum return, so full attention would be going into ensuring this. For some reason, if there were too many subscriptions to be handled, capping them and having rolling registration from there on (too allow infrastructure to keep up) would only increase demand as you are effectively limiting the supply short-term, just my opinion.
