Sorry for late posting due to work commitments.
I emailed Neil yesterday re the M2 results as follows:

Can you please advise whether independent confirmation exists or whether it has not yet been sought? Even just a statement from the two gentlemen on the Advisory Board would instil more confidence in the M2 announcement given their credentials. Is this possible?

Today the announcement re Dr Krichmar's independent confirmation of the M2 results was released and I received the following response from Neil:

We only received it today so it couldn't have been released earlier.
Apologies for not being able to call you.

Hope this clarifies why today's announcement wasn't released simultaneously with the M2 announcement.
I have no doubt that what M2 has achieved is exactly as stated in the announcement and as such ... it's mind boggling.
