    Hi Joannie,
    Based on the screen shot below MIN believes that after a month they can do a special resolution which they can vote on that will pass with their vote which will enable them to apply to delist NWE. I can't find anything to contradict them or confirm it (which is probably why i do the job i do rather than corporate law).

    BUT
    - first they need to get to 75%
    - then they need to wait a month
    - then they need to have the meeting
    - then they need to apply
    - then the ASX needs to agree to delist - As soltrader says, they need a genuine reason and in this case 'but I wanna' is not going to cut it for CE. The way i read it, is that if we have less than 150 holders with +$500 then the asx will certianly agree to delist. If we have more, then the ASX CAN agree but needs a good reason which based on the guidance note, i am not sure exists.
    - then even if the ASX agree, it will take a minimum of 3 months and MIN is obliged to give the opportunity to sell at fair value

    Something to be aware of, but I would not lose sleep over it.
