I find it interesting that Iain put out the rig contract notification to the market 48hrs before recommendation to accept. Surely these “negotiations” between NWE and MIN to accept the 1300/1 were finalised at this point. Perhaps Iain was throwing us a sneaky “just hold on” message by doing that.
MIN didn’t release a rig notification and by NWE doing so it gives us a firm date to hold on to.
