He can certainly close the offer on 2 March, which I hope he does.
No reason for him to keep going imo.
He has achieved what I believe his goals were.

I have never thought he cared about total control.
It would have been a bonus but I doubt he ever believed he would achieve it.
All the rest was just normal bluster for a takeover.
A bit dodgy where he threatens to delist NWE if he can.
Definitely skirting the takeover laws threating that.

Oh, and the delisting was never going to happen if you knew anything about corps law.
Just bluster.

IMO this was all about control of the tenements, not NWE.
MIN basically do not have to worry anymore about NWE's consent to do anything with the tenements.
Objective achieved - time for MIN to move on.

They will be more focused on getting the drilling, 3D and then the stated plant operating than worrying about 25-30% of NWE.
ie 5-6% of the tenements value
