One thing we know about rigs is that time is money, from the date of mobilisation to demobilisation, someone is paying for it. They don’t just sit dormant. No other operator has put out a announcement that the 970 is contracted to them at any point in the coming months either.
Anyway, we’ll know more in the next 2 weeks. If there’s any more excuses then there’s no more doubt.
