Drill rigs need recertification and major refits, especially the deep rigs. MAY’s rig is in for a 2 month service. The presumption that they operate 24/7 ad infinitum is simply wrong.
Besides, if LD is as big as most here seem to think then surely CE is keen to prove it ASAP whether he owns 80 or 100% of it; having a junior partner is a mild inconvenience.
The derogatory remarks directed at CE and GRH smack of tall poppy syndrome. They are business persons doing their job.
