@chuk: They are within normal levels, yes, but no CEO who has the smallest amount of conscience and ethics (yes, I would go as far as using the word "ethics") increased their salary by 80% when the company they lead are STRUGGLING to survive, literally. CEOs and executives of the likes of Macquarie Group, big banks, and some other big corporations had one of the highest compensation increase in 2023 because their companies did have a record-profit year or at least an exceptional year, not having to throw free options 1:1 at low price for a pathetic CR amount.

Incompetent, dishonest, and greedy.
