I agree. Buffet and Munger are probably the most successful famous investors ever. They stick to blue chips but probably have bought more of their stocks when thy are out of favour than any other time. They are known to step in and buy at times like the GFC and corona virus crashes when all stocks are in freefall. They wouldn't have cared less about those technical sell indicators. They knew they were getting bargains that were very likely to turn back up and they could either hold long term or sell at much higher prices when others were buying on those strong buy indicators. They have recently sold big parcels in a number of companies in a strong bull market for large caps in the US.
Indicators are probably useful for short term traders, not for medium to long term investors.
