On an unrelated note, just heard (via NI email today) that EMN secured non-dilutive funding of $100m usd, 3.5 times of its last traded market cap.

Makes it painful (and puzzling) to wonder why it's so fking damn hard to secure $26m for us, when market cap was still above aud 100 m (and now +40% lower). DFS NPV is aud +300m , but struggling for a very long time to receive final funding (as of now, still no single cent received). $25m term sheet signed with cornerstone investors over a year ago became a useless piece of paper.

Lindsay said earlier investors have no idea how "big" this thing is, and that this is a project of a lifetime, presidential support, etc. all sorts of crap. Well perhaps yes, according to the DFS, but project management disasters, funding difficulty, etc. do not seem to be consistent with those claims.

At this end of the market, one indeed really needs to be cautious with all the promises from smiley CEOs who do not fully disclose all the risks to you and phrase their words in a way that makes you feel/believe the risks of achieving such a very promising number are very low. Retail investors just need to protect themselves by reading between the lines.
