Stunning new 4yr low ! How low can this go ? The usual reaction from rusted on loyal SH's is to demand a buyback - Noooo !
All that does is eat up valuable cash, and reduce SLR optionality ... and is not going to convince the market or the shorts.

This is a buyers market not a sellers market - all sorts of goldies are being rerated negatively. The only thing that will put a floor under a SP obviously, is market action such as M&A, but more likely in SLR instance, a bear market rally when some big players say its "oversold".
Is SLR a TO target - not IMHO. Is SLR an M&A player - maybe. Today's SP action doesn't support the latter theory IMHO.

Elsewhere PNR touched a new 10yr low ( not a typo ). Maybe SLR could takeover them if over, if they are willing but are they ?
PNR has no immediate synergies, but may be a troubled asset thats needs one last push to get into profitable production that will pay down its onerous debt .... amazing what a change in the POG sentiment does to valuations.
