Great post and highlights the postives and negatives created by a mining boom, its hard to have one without the other. Hopefully with the borders reopening it may be easier to find skilled skilled staff , the pay will certainly be more attractive.
I know in the oil industry finding skilled staff is exacerbated by many with the highest skill reaching retirement age and leaving the industry, that is just as likely happening in the mining industry. However like most things it eventually gets resolved.
Fortunately we have Far West ticking along profitably in the perfect price environment and probably gives us another 2-3 quarters of full production before it starts to wind down, so a bit of a buffer to get things done..
If they reinstate the production report it should be out in the next two weeks followed by the quarterly andperhaps something else in between.
Its a frustrating time but the World hasn't ended...
