@JohnL888, at this point and for quite some time, Shandong IS the management. They control the board and have placed their people into the roles of CEO and CFO for years. If people are jumping from buildings it should be for what they've done to small shareholders, not Shandong.

Shandong seems to have done well by their fellow shareholders cleaning up the mess of the Baird/Taig era, but now I think Shandong's interests are more aligned to other shareholders at Laverton than Coolgardie. Laverton is where the big finds might be and Shandong has the means to develop a major discovery. Moreover, a 500,000oz+ find is more likely to hold their interest than the 100,000 odd reserve ounces they've been able to define while focusing on Coolgardie.

My advice to management: Leave Coolgardie to the smaller more dynamic players (I mean smaller relative to Shandong, not Focus) through a sale or JV, monetise what you've been able to achieve at Bonnie Vale etc, cut any losses, then go hard at Laverton with a clearly explainable strategy.

If I see something along those lines happening, I'll be pulling the trigger and buying in.
