I agree. Imo they are really seeing the benefication as a long term prospect. They are already paying to dig some of it up and stockpile it to get to the better product. If they can process it fairly cheaply it probably removes the stockpiling issue and gains more profit.
Of course once you have developed the benefication process, it would be easily transferred/applied to similar ore bodies. I wonder if Clough would entertain a JV or want to go it alone?
