Hmm... Hawsons 20mtpa may cost $8-10b with no economies of scale
The PFS estimates 10mtpa to be around $1.4b back in 2017, but doubling of output may cause cost blowout of up to 700% according to our HC in-house experts.
So a similar mine MGT nearby of 3mtpa may cost at least 8*3/20 = $1.2b and possibly up to $1.5b by the same logic
Alternately, PFS experts estimate it to be around $600m.
So do we believe the experts who crunched the numbers for the PFS or not?
