I have to agree with this miningnut. I remember a webinar last year where JG said ‘ the NE sale was on him’ in quite a sheepish sorry way of saying he hasn’t moved it forward because he doesn’t really want to sell it. Well, that was my interpretation anyway..
In that same webinar JG asked shareholders to give them feedback on what they would prefer buy backs or dividends. History suggest way to premature and you are correct he is too loose with his words. Now Dan is saying they will consider all options and does this include developing NE or another asset that JG has mentioned they would consider if appropriate?.
So for me the bet has now changed from getting FCF and buying back shares if SP is low or paying good dividends if the SP is high. A pretty simple strategy
To a bet of how good you think JG DO and RSK to an extent are good at capital allocation and growing a junior mining company. if you are to believe LG’s then RSK history of this is terrible.. however I have only been invested 4 years and have no knowledge or the Bowden, challenger deals.
If this is the path the company wants to take then I would hope they communicate so we could invest based on their future plans. I would also want to see DO own some serious amount of shares and JG keep adding to his personal holdings.
