Very expensive and time consuming for ARU to diamond drill to depth to prove up more resource. The previous drilling campaigns showed resource extension at continued depth however they had determined the current JORC resource of 27+ years and were satisfied with that to progress to key production initiatives - 20+ years and a s load of monies.
Lynas are ramping production at Mt Weld to both increase production at Malaysia plant and to supply into the US funded plant in 3 years time. They did further drilling over past 2 years to increase there JORC resource and be confident of such.
Expect ARU to do similar in next 5 years however there are many other possible growth drivers in the MoU partnership with ? I forget around the agreement of ARU sole rights to very rich PrNd concentrate produced from a processing facility in Darwin port industrial complex and also future increases to Nolan's processing capacity to process third party concentrate.
ARU are full steam ahead now and next many decades.
