re: Ann: Mines Money Hong Kong Presentation -... NTU in their report of 15 March 2012 provide a table of milling costs. I have chosen the value of $8,000 for producing a tonne of concentrate from 0.5% ore.
Actual drilling results to date are more towards the 1% range but since the cutoff is 0.25% the production pit envelope will include some lower grade material.
The important result from this report is that NTU can pull a 33% concentrate from all grades of material in their production forecasts.
To my eye the interesting material is Yttrium which is the largest fraction of the HREO in concentrate at around 60%. Recent price rise from $100/kg to $120/kg indicate that the market is short Yttrium and the use in high efficiency lighting indicates the potential for a growing demand.
