I personally know many of the holders of Canyon shares and I assure you that with current known facts we hold more than sufficient to prevent a take over (many times over actually) at some silly price. Now that doesn't mean that some party can't make that silly offer and I'm sure some would accept but the bidder would not gain total control and would likely not even get to 50%.

Of course if the facts change, our response could change. Also, if there was a fair offer made I would sell. Otherwise, I am a part owner (with patience) of a tier one resource in a commodity that is getting scarcer by the day. I'm also sure that later this year, and my call is 3 months approx, major economies will start on infrastructure investment to kick start their economies.

Given we're back to 5-6c, can you change your footer to 'CAY for the punt on a 50 bagger'. It's a $1b+ company in the right market... and doing 10mtpa DSO... 50 bagger is only fitting!
