I think there may be a realisation that to file a claim is one thing; getting paid is another and its going to take time. There is a lot at stake for the Tanzanians as it may create a precedent for other claimants, so I would expect them to fight this pretty hard and they will not doubt claim that tax was not paid etc. They will also know that IDA are going for a quick recovery, so if any offer is made it may be very lowball.

On the positive side for us investors, the litigation funder would not have taken on this case without the expectation for a reasonable recovery to cover their costs plus a decent margin.
