White Dam - Gold Mine
Lucas TCS also "undertook the Contract Mining and Civil earthworks for the White Dam gold mine near Broken Hill. Lucas TCS completed all services onsite including contract mining, drill and blast, ore crushing, lime carting, survey, topsoil stripping, site rehab, the construction of the leach pads, water treatment ponds, W pregnant solution swales and watercourse diversion.
Project was undertaken on a double shift operation and an extension to the contract was awarded for a second satellite pit. The project was completed with no LTI’s and the client achieved higher than budgeted gold recovery, higher tonnage and lower dilution."
