Mining is digging ore out of the ground
Concentrating is the first stage of downstream processing
Even the US DoE is in agreement as they do not fund mining but will accept applications to funding concentrating operations (e.g. as they have recently done with ALB) and obviously further refining to Hydroxide.
Now Ghana has to be aware of the difficulty in Hydroxide refining and the availability of skillset to do it .... does not exist in many places and certainly not in Ghana presently. So while they may want to refine Hydroxide it may not be feasible (ever).
But lets not forget some risk remains and of course remember what the LoM ASP for SC6 that was used to calc that NPV
Roughly speaking 40% of (US$1.5B - US$200M (for the GoG extra grab)) is US$520M (~AU$825M) for Atlantic share of project,
Currently AU$290M or 35.2% ... bang on CG number
So how much of the AU$125M will be "recaptured"? ... its about 43% increase in MCap.
