Re water: CCU announced today that good water flows had been recorded in two drill holes 4km south of the Wonawinta project area. The results are significant because the Wonawinta feasibility study assumed water would be piped from the McKinnons bore-field, 50km to the north of the project site. Assuming sustainable yields can be demonstrated, these new holes have the potential to supply the entire project?s water needs and the costs of delivering water to the processing plant will be significantly less than was assumed in the feasibility study.
