Whilst AVZ has now changed tack by employing a PR strategy I dont necessarily view it as indicating the end of this imbroglio is near.
Rather, after months of pursuing quiet diplomacy, at the risk of losing the narrative, it appears they have resorted to plan B.
If last weeks media interview sought to address the public narrative imbalance, this press conference went further by pointing the finger squarely at Cami in identifying the log jam.
My reading is that this presser by co lawyers was a very public, albeit risky, attempt to force the issue of govt inertia as it pertains to their dealings with Cami and Comminere.
In short, it's a power struggle which has forced the co to appeal to the court of public opinion, after losing patience and confidence in the government's handling of this matter.
