The next wave in batteries may well be a thing called the oxygen-iron. Its about 2-3 years away, technology has been sorted. Same or better storage capacity as lithium ion but a tenth of the price. What has made the difference has been the addition of a bit of bismuth metal. This has solved the main problem that held back the I-O battery. It stops it from rusting.
Bismuth is only twice as common as gold. That is its pretty scarce. If as the new cheap tecnology for batteries takes off and it will transform the economics of electricity storage, I woul expect bismuth prices to climb rapidly. If you have it in your mine it would likely be a very nice extra source of income. MLX have a deposit in the NT with 8k tons of it ir about 240 million bucks worth at current price. Just as a byproduct. When the I-O battery hits the market (google it youll be amazed) that depost could easily be a billion dollar revenue add on to the NT goldmine.
I think this reef, so dense on the first side of the fault will continue along the displacement. Could easily be as much gold along there as there was on the other side.
Yeah this stock has been along term disater, but now the stock is only a cent. I like the odds. If thedy hit that continuation would reckon 20c to 40 c in a year. If someone offered you the flip of a coin. You lose 1c if you lose 20-40c if you win. As many shots as you want. Using your brain what do you choose? To walk away?> Hmmm.

OMG you're right, I've never thought of it like that! As long as you're SURE it's a 50/50 coin flip to 2000-4000% profit! I'll go out and buy some today - keep an eye out for our substantial holder notice! Or maybe I'll just put my money on lucky number 8 in the 8th at Mooney Valley this weekend. Such choices, I'd better consult my investment adviser (Magic 8 ball).
