If AR3 can make this work, not only do they have bulk samples for metallurgical trials but could be satisfying and derisking many of the ‘conditions’ that are associated with the Program for Environment Protection and Rehabilitation (PEPR) process, including learning lessons along the way.
South Australia is ranked in the world’s top mining jurisdictions. That’s no accident. Decades of strong governance, and environmental and community protections makes it a sound ESG investment opportunity because the PEPR is a key licence that is written into the law. As world-trade aims to spread-out both the supply of 'critical' raw materials, particularly REEs, to low sovereign-risk countries like Australia, manufacturers on a global scale need to be assured that they can continue to progress their projects with confidence.
Therefore, through these multiple streams if they can satisfy state regulatory bodies, landowners and improve on the geological understanding, this project could be derisked faster than one can actually eat the cake.
