Mint was never going to be a short-term play but with NETS revenue having started to be generated 2 weeks ago and UOBM following suit in the future, they're finally on track to become a noted player in service provision throughout East Asia.
mPOS solutions are critical in Asia and with having gone live with NETS who are part-owned by UOB, who knows where they will expand to.
No doubt the HoA with UOB has come about by them being impressed with Mint's tech and implementation. To choose them in the current press to have a cashless environment in the next 2 years is a pretty big accolade imo.
The other two majority owners of NETS might even follow suit - who knows.
