If this first hole breaks through cover into significant Havieron-style copper-gold mineralisation, it will be obvious to all present and I would expect an immediate trading halt.
If it simply hits quartz veining and lesser mineralisation related to the adjacent structures then it would be a longer wait for core to be logged, marked up, cut, sampled, transported to the lab, prepped, assayed and reported. Probably a couple of months.
The target is a bit of an either/or though. Either it is a doppelganger of Havieron, not just geophysically but also geologically, or it is not. We should know shortly, if all goes well drilling through that challenging thickness of cover.
