That is a simple way to put the OPVM into some perspective.
Obviously need to compare apples with apples which your last paragraph would probably give. Getting the data...hmmm?
Minyari/Karlawinda (Bibra Pit) (CMM) and others start from surface.
Hemi - generally 40m of cover
Havieron/Ridgeway/Carrapateena etc 400+m of cover.
Along with the surface area you discuss the amount of cover was another issue with that simple metric I was trying to get my head around.
3 of these 6 are/were successful mines the others are likely to be as well IMO with Minyari currently the smallest.
