GGP is priced in GBX (1/100 pound, kind of like 1c) not in GBP (pounds). GGP's share price at the moment is 8 pence, not 8 pounds. This doesn't make any difference to the ratios you've stated, but if it was in pounds the disparity between GGP and AZY would be a astronomical. Based on today's conversion rate, AZY would have to be around 15c to have the same price as GGP.
