AlexanderJ, My view is the JV partners wouldn't be receptive to such an approach. What would any of the jv gain by doing so? The jv partner's interest is in keeping AZY share price as low as possible.
AZY pissed off one of it's jv by undertaking a cap raise instead of allowing the jv to increase % ownership.
The whole gold sector is depressed at the moment. There have been some encouraging signs this week when gold went back over $1700, however, gold has a long way to go.
Either the wider gold market picks up AND/OR AZY unveils a good discovery. Barring those AZY will stay around where it is in my opinion.
