FOMC Minutes released in US overnight. XGD (gold stock) index closed down 5% today. That's a big sell off across gold stocks ahead of this release which could be market moving for gold. Sentiment was clearly against gold stocks today regardless of the news. If gold holds up overnight, gold stocks will likely bounce back tomorrow.
