I have many theories on the paper issue but nothing really concrete at this stage, so pointless to espouse them. I know the physical market is still very tight at least and getting worse but when this actually plays into the paper markets is anyone's guess. No one really predicted the timing of the nickel issue and I suspect the silver issue will be similar. Just one day it is there, we have all the signs the pressure is increasing.

Silver on COMEX is now down to like 75M in registered, so it continues to be drained from tradeable paper silver. But they are still managing to sell it about 8x-10x over (ie same silver being sold 10 times at a loss) on any particular day when needed at massive losses to control the price. The PPT likely have an unlimited budget, but even so they are only losing a few billion on those days when needed to keep price under control. That would be manageable to them.

If China/Russia are serious about ending the USD they simply need to step into this tiny silver market and they will cripple the petrodollar. Kinda strange that they haven't.
