Why this share price isn't 60 cents is nothing short of a miracle.
The Adern communist government of NZ have literally imprisoned the whole country banning them from leaving the country on Air NZ flights and even gone as far to pass laws for mandatory medical procedures if they require them and the ability to enter private property by a crown appointed person under the covid scamdemic bill rushed through parliament. Covid has changed this business forever.
Air New Zealand will be a domestic carrier the CEO even stated this in a recent announcement,
So why you would buy this stock is beyond me, Unless of course the institutions with all the inside info sitting in on the board room meetings are manipulating you to buy up. Who knows. But until someone like Billy Te Kahika can drain this MMP swamp you are screwed Air New Zealand. Freedoms are the first to go, commerce is next.
Even Winston Peters is trying to pass the death penalty at present, and tyrannical governments with the sort of power not unlike that of this government have generally committed mass murder throughout history on dissenters using laws like these. The communist government of NZ also owns 50% of this flying pig so you may get something back who knows.
Airlines are a tough Capex business, look at QAN they told the public they had cash for a year without even flying a plane this week they put out a CR for 1.8B and asked for more job seeker payments from the tax payer. They are even tougher when they aren't flying.
Until the governments are exposed for their agendas regarding this years flu (corona) airlines are dangerous investments.
