Peter Armitage, former director of SER and current chairman of Ionic joined the board of ENX last year. The share price doubled. Then ENX director Geoffrey Albers starting buying a heap on market to add to the millions he already owns. Since then the share price has fallen back down to 1.1c. They keep mentioning in every quarterly that they are “seeking to become involved in innovations that are transforming the storage of energy” which is basically Ionic. All the clues are there.
Check the top 20 of ENX and you’ll see Kirke is there too. Not a huge holding compared to SER but there nonetheless.
So make of it what you will. Lots of potential upside if Ionic does backdrop into ENX. Or nothing might happen.
It seems to me they were positioning themselves as if it was all to have gone ahead last year but it got delayed. And now we’re into August and there’s still no indication when Ionic will list.
