I did a buy recently for 1 million MMI shares and I had over 150 transactions on my contract note, mostly $3 to $5 amounts at evenly spaced 5 minute intervals where the sellers broker had a computer program (bot) trying to push the price DOWN. There were a smattering of legilimate sells mixed in. When I contacted ASX directly they said they can't do anything about it and attached a proforma explanation that obviously indicated they get lots of complaints.
